Not really. But close. The stone wall is on some random road in Dutchess and the others by the water are also Dutchess along Co. Rt. 21.

Thank you Mr. Ducboy. I just got back from a four day ride through eastern Oregon, northern Idaho, and eastern Washington. The fall colors in the Pend Oreille Valley of NE Washington were some of the most beautiful I have seen out here, but nothing comared to "back East". Typical me on a group ride, I didn't stop to shoot any photos.

Here is a sample, I'll post some more in a trip report in the Rides forum.

I know every year is different and it varies by locale, but what is the general date range for the best autumn colors in the NE, say from upstate NY on up through New England?
