Took My 996 to the Only Indian Reservation in Alaska
For those interested in some photos of Southeast Alaska there are a ton of them in my report.
Awesome backdrop for photographing a Duc!

It's a very lengthy report. Enjoy, Mark H.

Thank you very much for sharing! Lots of work and much appreciated.
You father worked in the tower? Did he continue his career as and Air Traffic Controller?

Thanks guys. Man, I didn't know ride reports were so popular here!
I think everyone I mention Metlakatla to is shocked when they learn that it's the only Reservation in AK.
Yea, my dad's job with the FAA is why we moved to Anchorage. He retired years ago from the control center here. Air traffic control. Tough job.
Could you guys tell how much fun I had riding? For me it sure is fun riding such an exotic bike in a secluded place. And the roads in Juneau were SO much fun! Short (about 25 miles each) but AWESOME!
Thanks again, Mark H.

We love ride reports. Yours is made so much better by your photos and narrative about the island, its residents, and their customs and traditions.

Wow!!! Fantastic job and what a great trip!!! I just read the whole report, absorbed the pics and "followed along" via Google Earth. Suddenly it was over and I realized I'm still in NY.
Let me tell you, for those of us who can't travel, you are a God-send!!
Comet just cracks me up. His expressions are priceless!
Thank You!!!!

Mark,
All I can say is wow!! What an amazing ride story and such beautiful pictures. Seeing where you grew up makes me want to go up there and ride those roads to see the things there.
