I really miss...
the ride videos from JimC in Massachusetts and Sfarson in Colorado. Their videos were real art forms which went beyond the standard "through the windshied videocam" footage. Are you two still riding and filming?

Hey Bill, Im still riding and filming, somewhat that is. My busy time at work is May - July so Ive only put 3800 miles on the bike so far this year. Plus its been a busy year with the kids, 2 teenagers in the house now and the little ones are starting to keep us very busy.
Summer and fall are my best time to get out and do some miles. I got a couple of movie ideas Ive been working on, now I just gotta get out and shot the footage.
I am leaving on a little 2 day trip in the morning to NY/PA/NJ so I should have some good footage to put something together soon.
I do have a small trip report of an afternoon ride I did a few weeks ago. I wish I could just copy and paste it here but that doesnt seem to work with this forum.
Here is the link to it.

Thanks. One of my riding group regulars rides a Honda VTX. He will leave me in the straights as he does not mind cruising in triple digits, but I always catch him in the curves. We keep telling him he is a sport tourer at heart and needs to buy an ST 1300. I'll tell him about your report on the bike.
One of my goals is to take an autumn leaves tour of New England on my bike, so I am looking forward to your videos this fall.

Thanks Bill. Still riding and recording. But <cough>, not always on the Bologna thing.
Did throw this Duc thing together last week, but it is one of the through-the-windshield basics...
A basic video of a basic canyon through the basic windshield - streaming vid
Last month was south of the equator following some business there. A report with images and several vids here.
But if you want to skip the report and just watch the ride vids...
Camera in one hand, throttle held by the other, passing through Vicuna - streaming vid
Riding alongside a lake - streaming vid
From Las Rojas to Altovalsol - streaming vid
Knowing you are open minded to the Milwaukee product...
Cruising through the Pike National Forest - streaming vid
How was the Torrey Rally? Did you enjoy Capitol Reef, Boulder, Escalante, etc.?

Thanks Steve. I just finished watching the Deer Creek video, I'll work my way through the others later. I somehow missed that you got a new Tri Colour.
I got sick on the way to Torrey, so I did spent most of my time recuperating and not riding. I did get in the mandatory ride on the Burr Trail Road. Gary Eagan said the silt in the dry washes was much deeper than four years ago, so Paul Geller and I passed on taking the unpaved portion through the park like we did in 2003.
I was hoping you could make it as you are a "next door" neighbor.

Sorry I didn't make UT, and for you not feeling well! I think the timing was right around when I needed to head to Chile. One of these days I'll make it to the NW. Returned two weeks ago from a ten day fling to the east seeing fam, friends, and doing some work.
