some spring weather... FINALLY!

well i've spent the last three days rippin' around our backroads here in the eugene, oregon area. we've finally got some decent riding weather and i've been taking full advantage of it on my new duc! the first month that i've had it i've been sneaking in rides here and there in the cold rain, but who wants to do that?! so, needless to say, i'm glad to finally have some dry pavement to tear up and "bond" with my 749

Mark Turbo recently filed a similar ride report on my local riding group's site. You guys are lucky not to have to ride through 50 miles of metro-mania to get to some good roads.

Your part of the PNW. My part of the PNW has about 3 million people from Olympia to Burlington crammed into a narrow neck of land nestled between Puget Sound and the Cascade Mts. That is why the best riding for me is road trips to the Palouse, Northern Idaho, and Eastern Oregon.

I'm so glad to be in Vancouver, WA. I can get the "thrill" of a big city but hit good roads in minutes. Oh well, enjoy the rides and I'm so glad spring is on its way.
