Italy is mountainous from the tip of the toe in the South to the very north. I'd love to ride the entire length, then hit the Alps. I'd have to give up my superbike and get a monster for that, I think. Too much scenery to be hunched over all the time.

Hi RedScare, I am a newbee on this forum but have recognised all places on the photos. It is near Positano (about 12 km from Amalfi). I live in Zambia and enjoy my Ducati 999 here without speed trap on most of the highways but anyway when I see my birth Country you can imagine.... Good luck and be careful because the drivers in that part of Italy (I am form the North) are worse than the one we got here
Enjoy it for me too.

let me find my map i was in Albanella chasing a girl for a bit lol, theres alot of great bike roads in the south but i dont think id want a bike over 500cc for most of them and id want some ride height lol, quite windy my Punto was edgy when i tried to drive it sporty lol.
ok its SS163 and it starts around Vietri sul Mare, the southern end of the road that is, right off of A3.

Yes SS163 - and it has different street (via) names as it winds through each town. Took the bus from Amalfi to Positano... won't do that again.
Nonetheless, Positano is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!

The wife and I are going there next week. We've rented an ST3 and will be riding from Rome to Sicily. I hope to see many such fantastic roads. The photo of the town looks similar to the photos I've seen of one of our stops call Acquafredda.
