"You're nuts." Reminds me of the line from that Christmas movie where everyone keeps telling Ralphie he will poke his eye out..... But thanks for the good write-up and photos.

Yer nuts and missing a bolt! I love it, good on ya mate' I'd feel a bit better if I could afford the HeavyCycles LED running tail/brake lamp for this time of year riding in the dark and especially the rain but sometimes yur gotta run what ya rought.
Hope you get proper ducati sleigh ride weather for the Holidays!
Cheers to ya

Jim, I like your style.
Pity about the pants not keeping out the rain. Was there a specific leak point, or was the soaking fairly thorough. I ask because I am looking for some waterproof riding pants. I thought I had a pair in the bag from one of the sponsors here, but the sale didn't go through as they had sold them in the store before the web page was updated.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks Pook, your not too far away so we should get together and ride some. Im doing a little ride thru CT tomorrow, then going out again on Sunday. Are you around?
The pants were a major bummer...I got soaked in the crotch, and from the knees down. Someone told me they need to be treated often to stay water proof, so I guess I should look into that.

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the offer, but there won't be much scooting for me for the next while. I work full time and go to school part time and as it's getting towards the end of the semester, my projects are close to due. Happily, spring will be my last semester and then there'll be no more classes for me. Lots of thesis research, though, but I'll work on it as it suits me.
Be sure to post pics of your CT scoot.
Vinny.
