Blue Ridge Parkway-The Dragon-Cherohala Skyway
These roads offer a diversity of riding skills and scenery.
Do you know of any other places east of the Mississippi that would offer a better package?
What about you riders from Arizona, since I have been down there more times than I can count and have never seen a AZ plate I would assume that you do not have to leave AZ for good riding. What are some of your best roads?

roads in that part of the country are unlike almost anything else in the world. I'm from italy by the alps, I've lived in SE for 15 years, and recently moved to NorCal... so, you could say I have a pretty good idea of how different "riding meccas" compare. you can't go wrong with the empty, varied, twisty, smooth roads of N.Ga, W N.C. and E Tenn... which is why we have the East Coast Meetup there every May 2012 EAST COAST DUCATI.MS MEETUP MAY 9-13TH *official thread*

That is pretty much the best backyard a man could ever have. I spend pretty much every weekend up there. Been three times already since buying my SF three weeks ago. I dont think it gets much better than that. Still to go do some riding in Italy with my fiancee and see what its all about. Shes from Napoli and I am planning on renting a MTS 1200 to go riding all around Italy for a couple of weeks in a near future.

West (by God) Virginia, the appalachian mtns. 219 runs up the west side 220 runs up the east side. Use the roads that connect the two, better than the "gap" imnsho.
rt 60, rt 39, rt 250, rt 33

The BRP is beyond compare IMHO. The roads off the BRP are beyond that.
