Trip to the Ozarks - pics to share.

Good - weather broke and the weeks of days in the 100's left and I had a week in the upper 80s and some cloud cover. Roads were/are excellent and very enjoyable. Up, down, left, right with many ascending and descending corners that are banked. Loads of fun.

Nothing too exciting to tell but I did take a few pictures that I thought might be of interest. I just kept thinking to myself, "why." No ethanol was a bonus and gas was the cheapest I have seen in months.

ozarks . . .

Glad you had a good time riding around in Missouri. Where abouts were you? Living in StL allows me to ride those kind of roads all the time in the same day and get home, too.

Branson area. My grandmother has a home on Table Rock Lake, near Blue Eye, that I could use as a base camp. I took the family unit down for a bit of visiting, boating and I trailered a bike down. I taught them to waterski/tube and a visit to Silver Dollar City in exchange for a day or two of road bending.

Learned my lesson a bit after the 1st East Coast meet-up and kept the KTM rubber side down.

Sounds like a good time, and a fair exchange for the family unit.

Those pictures are epic! Must be some sort of mountain thing

Used to live close to there, rode HWY 17 and HWY U (between Rolla and Waynesville) quite a bit and loved it. Looking for some roads where I am currently at to mimic those. Glad to see that you had an enjoyable time.

Some nice roads out there, I was lucky enough to ride through the SE corner (19 & 160 I think) on the way to Michigan. I had a great time on them.

It may be dirty, but it's hard to wash while riding!
