Bill A Invades the Pacific North West

Alana (my wife) and I will leave on a two week Motorcycle Road Trip early tomorrow morning.

We will cover almost 4000 miles in two weeks. Along the way we will attend a wedding, visit family, and get to see some places we have wanted to visit for a long time.

I plan to post updates on Facebook, if you would like to follow along.

Here is the proposed route:
- Jul 8,9 Home to Paso Robles 282 miles 5 hours
- Jul 10 Paso Robles to Point Reyes 6 hours 15 min
- Jul 11 Paso Robles to Eureka 5 hrs 40 min
- Jul 12 Eureka to Bend Oregon 7.5 hours
- Jul 13,14 Bend to Seattle 6 hours
- Jul 15-17 Seattle to Coure d'Alene 6 hours
- Jul 18,19 Coure d'Alene to West Yellowstone 7 hours
- Jul 20 Yellowstone to Elko, Nv 7.5 hours
- Jul 21 Elko to Stockton 7.5 hours
- Jul 22 Stockton to home 7 hours

We'll average 350 - 400 miles a day, and stay off of interstates as much as possible. We plan a lot of coastal and mountain riding. But the route also needed to accommodate important destinations, like visiting my son in Seattle.

I'll write up a ride report when i return. I will be taking my camera, but only one lens, as space is TIGHT.

During the trip we will attend a wedding, hike, have a couple of dinners with family, and site see. We tried to pack sufficiently for those purposes, as well as accommodate the needs of two of us for two weeks, while taking along enough tools to make any minor repairs that may become necessary. Needless to say, we will be doing laundry often! Hhahahhahhaaa

I will be taking my iPad, though, so i hope to check in as often as we can find free wifi.

Wish us luck (say a prayer). We are anticipating a really nice couple of weeks!

Nothing like a good roadtrip. Have fun and be safe. Watch out for bears and buffalo in Yellowstone.

Your title took me by surprise as I have been up here nearly twenty years.

Check out my buddy Randy's website for roads up here. He has linked videos to many of the roads.

Ha!
I'm going to tell them you said that!

The sun isn't quite up yet, and we'll be leaving in a few minutes.
I'll do my best to post updates along the way.

The ride to Paso Robles was eventful. It was hot and full of road construction. But the bike performed flawlessly, and we had a good time.

The wedding is tonight, and we will leave for Point Reyes in the morning.
