Most Scenic Raods in the US
How many have you ridden? I have ridden Route 12 in Utah and have driven (not
ridden) 17 Mile Drive in Carmel and Lake Shore Drive in Chicago.
America's Most Scenic Roads
I have also ridden # 13 & 14 on the expanded list of 26 roads.

Kancamagus Highway many times on 2 and 4 wheels, not many turns, always cars in front and the hairpin always covered with gravel that camper-trailers drag on to the road.
US1 to Key West about dozen times but only in the cage, not sure I'd enjoy 4 hours in slow traffic riding the bike.
Blue Ridge is next!

No offense (I am now a New Englander after all) but the Kanc pales in comparison to some of those roads in western NC, VA and TN.

No argument there: frost heaves, salt, sand, traffic and really only about dozen corners, but it's a scenic pass.
Rt1 through the keys just simply sucks to ride, but scenery and the tourist traps is what makes it attractive. You can just pull over have a dinner on the beach, rent a jetski or scuba gear...

there is an old country western song that says "I've been every where, man". I'm sure I have missed a few however. I'd have to put Calif 1 and Utah 12 up at the top. any road along the ocean, lake or river. hwy 96 in N. Calif is a scenic river road that I like
