Blue Ridge Parkway, May 2011

What was planned as 5 became 2 bikes and a chase car but we had a ball anyway, even with the rain. A short writeup on our trip with a few pics.

the BRPW is great, too bad the speed limit is low and speeding penalties are harsh...because I bet you could really rip up the curves on those 2 bikes!!

I had a blast running up and down those roads on my RC51 and Falco!!!

We saw a gorgeous RC51 at the campground Sunday night. Also, we saw one (yes ONE) patrol the entire weekend.

Nice write up photos. Enjoyed it.

I can vouch for the lousy weather, we were up in the area at the same time.

What! you stopped? I got it figured out. You run into one of those long black tunnels, kill the lights, and when they blow by turn around and head out the other direction. The'll never figure out where you went!

the tunnel was like 272.7 miles from where I was stopped. My son was on his CBR, it was one of those wonderful unforgettable father and son outings. Total cost of the fines for both of us $150, experience unforgettable.

They do that? Wow, Beth would probably consider that a badge of honor.
