Only thing I can see the PP has (no bags) some carbron fibre and a termi slipon. and some nice graphics. Seems like it should be closer to the base model or at least have the small side boxes.

It also has Marchesini Wheels

according to the ducati site the wheels for GT and PP are the same "10-spoke light alloy wheels"
All the multi's seem to have the same wheels, I note the tires for the GT are different probably more touring oriented.

Just as an FYI the US version PP DOES NOT come with the termi slip on. That was what finally made me say forget it. I went with the S touring. When I figured what I had to add plus the fact that the termi didn't come on the US version I decided it wasn't for me. I had my dealer check this for me. It says it has it on the site but when he checked with Ducati America they said only on the non US units.

A&S Powersports in Roseville has both the GT and the Pikes Peak listed for 21,995.

Yikes - I hope that the Aus prices aren't increased by the same proportion as the previous models. If so, they'll be $40k!

The Pikes Peak was and still is 21,995. The 2013 S touring is still 19,995 and the base model is still 16,995 (USA).

Many thanks HyperGirl.
It's odd that it now seems acknowledged that the 2012 was lumpy and not at all a smooth runner in the lower rev ranges...yet that never got a mention in the 2012 road tests. Also, if it still has that nastty big butterfly exhaust valve that all-but closes off the exhaust at about 4500 rpm...how can it run well at those revs?
