That would be a personal preference, and what about bag support and center stand stopper,
not an easy one answer question...

Err.. what? Perhaps a better explaination please?
I have the Termignoni slipon on the stock exhaust and its for looks only. If you want more sound, then your going to need some de-cat pipes which make the bike SUPERloud without a proper muffler.

Termi and decat
Is too loud, but original plus decat is LOUDER (just 1 dB but with a more shrill sound)
I installed a dbkiller (UK product) at the end of the decat collectors and then the Termi onto that; perfectly OK in both tone and volume.
But then again, my hearing isn't all that good ;-)

It's a personal thing. I like the stock muffler. It fits the bike. All other exhausts out there tries to make the bike look supersport/superbike'ish. Again its personal.

What db killer did you install? I have a MIVV decat with a Termi Slip On and installed a BR Special Tuning baffle from the UK and its still way to loud. I'm now looking for an additional db killer/baffle to take things down a few notches. Have any suggestions?

Anyone looking for db killers you can contact Jay Morray (jaymurray2@aol.com). He is located in the San Francisco Bay area and has been making db killers for a while now. He is well known in that area as a lot of his costomers use him to pass the db limits at Laguna Seca.
He is a welder and started this business to help quiet exhaust. He will request that you send him the exhuast can only. He builds the db insert and sends it back.

Has the fear of losing horsepower subsided due to the use of said db killers? Some here had actually dyno tested such (db killer, no db killer). I love the idea of losing the big and heavy cat, but the few side effects (EXVL, exacerbate lean, loudness, CEL) aren't things I care about, especially the much higher noise level. Again, I love the idea of losing the cat, and like the full Termi kit best only due to ease of use, but I'm not big on the looks.

I have none of these issues. My ECU was re-flashed and the servo removed and O2 sensor disconnected. No EXVL, no fueling issues, no CEL, no loss of HP. In fact I gained about 5 HP after the mod and Dyno tested showed this. I have two db baffles installed. The one that comes inserted in the MIVV mid-pipe, which is nothing more then a slight reduction in diameter and about 3" long. The second baffle is from BR Special Tuning which is a real baffle and did quiet the system down a bit but just not enough for my liking. So the only issue I have with the MIVV Decat with the Termi Slip On and the stated baffles installed is it's still a bit too load for my taste. Although with good ear plugs it sounds terrific to me but just not great for those outside.
