My only goal is noise reduction. I'm about 6'1" and am torn between the standard and tall versions.
I hate looking through screens, so need the top edge below line of sight.

IMO, > 6' should get the tall, < 6' should get the medium. At 6' 1" you should be able to see over the tall screen even in the highest position, and it will provide a quieter ride as less wind will hit your helmet.
The only reason I didn't go that route is because I want to be able to set the screen in the low position in the summer to get more air to my helmet vents, and the tall is too high, even set in the lowest position, to allow much air into my helmet (even though I'm 6', I have 33" inseam and short torso).
I hope that helps.

I don't have a picture but I can tell you that even in the full up position I can easily see over the top of the screen and I am 6' tall with a long torso. The top edge has to be at least 3" below my line of sight. If I can get someone to take a picture of me sitting on the bike I will post it.

Thanks guys. Sounds like I should try the tall version.
It may look a little goofy, but I suppose less goofy than wearing hearing aids before I'm 60.

Tall Vstream vs Stock
In case you want to get a sense of a tall Vstream vs the stock windshield here is a pic from my bike...

So, I 6Ft 4 with a 32' inseam and have fit Aztec's spacers and had a reduction in noise but still get a lot of buffeting and helmet boom. I had a V stream on my GT and it made a huge improvement. I see the the V-stream comes with grommets and ball joints for the top. Has anyone fit the V stream to the Aztec spacers? The hole pattern on the V stream appears to be the same as stock and I suppose one could add the V stream kit to the ends of the spacers.

Two thoughts:
First, the bits that come in the VStream kit already push the screen out about 20mm from the mount points. This lets a fair bit of air up under the screen to reduce back pressure and the low frequency booming that it causes.
Second, given how the VStream hardware is designed, I'm not sure how stable the whole setup would be sitting on the ends of the Aztec spacers. For all 3 mounting points, the VStream spacers go "over" the fairing mount points, adding 50% to their diameter, I presume to add rigidity to the whole package. After all, it's quite a bit larger than the stock screen, so it has a LOT more pressure on it as the speeds increase. I'd be really concerned that adding 30mm more to the setup could put too much stress on the mounting points, especially in a cross wind.

Yeah, that was my concern also. I've had other screens develop stress cracks at the mounting holes before. The Aztec's were fairly expensive and did change the shield's angle significantly but I catch a lot of wind on my shoulders. Are the holes in the V stream in the same locations as the OEM?

Thanks for the pic fasteddie. Very helpful. Not as much bigger than stock as I thought.
I've had some luck with the calsci shorty in the "up" position: quiet and smooth. But not much weather protection.
I'm trying vstream large next

Yes, same locations. See fasteddie's pic above.
And yes, wind on the upper body, specifically at the shoulders, is one of 2 things I was trying to "cure" with the VStream. The other was the "dirty" air coming around the bottom of the stock screen at the fairing, and the little wings on the bottom of the VStream help a lot with that too (that air is a major source of the low-freq booming that most people experience). That part can still be improved, so check out the Screens thread on the idea re. additional wind wings to block the rest of that air.
