Talking 2010 Multistrada 1200 S touring passenger seat cover

I have searched these forums and found nothing on the plastic color matched replacement for the passenger seat. I've seen it for the older 1100S multi's. But not for the 2010. I don't carry passengers and would like to remove the seat and put a red hard plastic cover on it. Any one know of such a thing.

seriously, there is no cowl/cover that i know of. the comfort/touring seat is a nice alternative though.

The closest thing I have seen is the carbon fiber rear seat blank used on the Team Spider Grips Multistrada 1200 Pike's Peak racers. Hell, something like that would be great, that way we could have something that would improve the under-seat stowage.

I prefer to ride sole and cover would be great provided it suited the styling of the bike . The extra storage would be very useful if the rear seat was removed and cover section could be locked in place life the rear seat is now .a mini rear boot .

There is plenty of stuff that straps to the current seat like this for BMWs:

This is a Touratech item.

I use one of these which works very well indeed.

If you really want a rack set up instead of the pillion seat, these guys make them for a range of bikes (but not mTSs yet) :
Micatech - Products

They are rear racks but they sell a front mount kit for a few bikes to locate it in the pillion position..

You need a rack?

Dynamic Motorcycle Accessories

For a seat cowl, maybe talking to Guido at Shift-Tech to design something...

Trunk style rear pillion seat replacement

You need to go to Corbin seats website and click on new stuff, then to the Ducati make eg. Multistrada. I have found the perfect thing I was looking for. It might be somewhat expensive but look at what you get. And it has clean lines and comes color matched to your bike. I plan on calling them on Monday to ask some questions. And maybe purchase one....
