Adjustable offset triples
So I've been working on my latest hobby of fully adjustable triple clamps. They will be adjustable from 25mm to 35mm and have been designed to fit all superbikes from the 916 to current. I will have pics to display this week and can't wait to check for final fit of the second(and hopefully final) prototype. I had made changes since the first proto.
Anyway, keep an eye out very shortly and I wanted to let you guys know that I will be posting a group set up for all interested very shortly. I want to fit them on all models I claim they will fit, so finding all of the bikes and tearing them apart will take a little bit of time.
I will be coming out with more information by the week. If interested, feel free to PM me. Chuck, if this bends or breaks the rules, feel free to do your thing. ;-)
Here are pics of the first prototype, with the new upper and bracket. Let me know what you guys think. Me thinks a future group buy if you want guys.

Can you make an upper triple for 996 with stock offset (36mm), stock damper mount with handlebar mounts? I have been desperately trying to find a company that makes one without having to buy a complete set and for less than $700-$1100 dollars.
I am building a 996'streetfighter b/c I can afford the new right now.
Thanks,
David

I think the thing to do is tap the upper to carry the risers for the bars. My triples go up to 35mm, however I would recommend lessening the offset anyway with the 996.
Thank you Silver.
Pics tomorrow!

What's the price going to be? Are they going to fit both Showa and ohlins?

When I do the group buy for all of the MS'ers, I will include all 6 pair of inserts with the triples. They come with the stem already. I will be making both Showa and Ohlins units, so you would just need to state which units you need.
I will be doing a one time .ms group price of $599.00. After that, they will be going to $999.00.

I didn't want to tap the upper b/c it isn't really made to take those kinds of stresses.
Would you be interested in making a set with holes for handlebars? I would be down with this group buy if so.
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
It sounds like a great project, however the cost to make one set for you would cost too much. I'm not assuming you would not have issue spending it, but there are more efficient ways.
My suggestion is to find a set of Street Fighter triples on Ebay. They will work for what you are looking to do "and" the run a 30mm offset which will help the bike handle much better than normal.
I think these may interest you David. I just found them on ebay.

Pics
So here are the pics of my triples guys. As I mentioned, I will be doing a final fit on all models SBK, with both Ohlins and showa steering dampers.
I should have all of my information by end of week so I can start production asap. The MS'ers will have the opportunity to go in at $599.00, including all inserts shown in the pics. I will have installation doc's and basic setup to go with all sets. As always, you will be able to contact me via PM or other sources shown. When I feel comfortable enough to have my stamp of approval for sale, I will start taking presale orders and have a specific time frame of start/stop for said presales. It will be a one month window so everyone interested will have time enough.
This will be only the beginning guys as I have several other projects I will be making happen after this project. Enjoy the pics and feel free to blow up my PM.

Nice work Brian.
Why the matte black?
I'd probably jump in on this.
