New 2012 Ducati Models Arriving Now

This just in the newest of our Ducati models
Act quick we are getting all kinds of buzz on these bikes

2012 Ducati 848 EVO

The “EVO” treatment applied to the 848 introduces a 6hp power boost to 140hp and a torque increase to 10kgm that results in a razor-sharp and easy-to-use power delivery. The 94mm x 61.2mm bore and stroke 848EVO engine is a fitting reward to Ducati’s ingenuity and a clear result of the continual attention to detail and development of their twin-cylinder technology.

Ducati Superbikes have always been famous for their incredible, track-derived braking performance and the 848EVO is no exception. Now featuring radially mounted Brembo’s powerful Monobloc caliper racing technology. The twin Monobloc calipers each have four 34 mm pistons that grip 320 mm discs to help generate planet-stopping braking while transmitting a precise “feel” at the brake lever. On the rear is a Brembo two-piston caliper and 245 mm disc.

A control-enhancing steering damper maintains perfect front-end stability, inspiring supreme control and confidence alongside the increased power output.

To summarize the difference between the 2010 848 and the new 848 EVO:

140 HP
Brembo Monobloc Calipers
Steering Damper
Pirelli Diablo SC SP Tires

2012 Ducati Monster 796
The Monster family introduces the 796, an exciting addition to the line-up that combines the user-friendliness of the 696 with the sports character of the 1100. Delivering 87 hp (64kW), a dry weight of just 167 kg (368lb) and optional ABS, the stylish new Monster 796 returns the magic of mid-range to the Monster family. With the brand new Desmodue 796 engine at the heart of the machine, a single-sided swingarm and revised ergonomics, the Monster 796 perfectly balances lifestyle performance with everyday functionality to enhance the original Monster spirit. Dressed in Ducati Red, Arctic White Silk or Diamond Black Silk with a bright red trellis frame, the Monster 796 can be further personalized with an additional 10 color schemes from the innovative Monster Art program, which features the latest collection, ‘Logomania’. Launched as an early 2011 model year, the Monster 796 opens a new road to the world of Ducati Monster and becomes the ‘urban icon’ of hand-built Italian naked motorcycles.

2012 Ducati Hypermotard EVO Corse Edition

The 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100EVO SP Corse Edition gets increased ground clearance, higher-spec suspension and high bars. The bike is available in red, white and black Ducati Corse official colours.

It’s a transformation from the standard 1100 and is a proper little hooligan.

The SP differs from the EVO with higher ground clearance, higher spec suspension, lightweight wheels and taller bars making it perfect for bothering sportsbikes in the fast group at a trackday.

We like the full red, white and black Ducati Corse official colours, too.
