Arai RX-Q Urban Motorcycle Helmet

Introduced in 2010 with the street rider in mind, the RX-Q series from Arai has left a good impression on everyone that’s tried it. The helmet was designed specifically to vent well at street speeds with large vents positioned to take advantage of air moving around the rider in a more upright position. It’s also an excellent helmet for track use. Like the Corsair-V, the helmet has a wider eye port than previous Arai motorcycle helmets for exceptional peripheral vision and is engineered to be more rigid around the bottom opening to improve safety. It also includes Arai’s emergency quick-release cheek pad system to allow safer removal of the helmet in a situation in which the wearer is unconscious and needs medical attention. All the controls for ventilation and the visor opening are large to easily be adjusted with a gloved hand. A fully removable and washable liner is standard. It’s even possible to tailor the helmet to your specific sizing needs by changing out the cheek pads and top liner for a truly custom fit.

Because the Arai RX-Q Urban paint scheme is new, availability is limited – order yours by calling TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 for expert sizing guidance. We also entertain questions via email, send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot Com with RXQ URBAN in the subject line along with the size you need and we’ll get back to you right away. If you’re new to Arai helmets, let us know what you currently wear and our expert staff can help you get fitted correctly over the phone.

In addition to the eyebrow vents which direct air over the temples, two more intakes are located on top of the helmet that deliver cooling air to the top of the skull. These, combined with the mouth intake provide airflow to the entire front and upper part of the head.

Snell M2010 and DOT approved, the RX-Q is a very comfortable helmet. With its new cheek pad design which has a closer fit to the jaw, it blocks road noise at the same time for a quiet, comfy fit.
