Alpinestars’ newest leather suit comes to you in the form of the Carver model, which is available in either a one-piece or a two piece version. Fabricated entirely from high-quality cowhide that’s stitched together using Alpinestars’ advanced multiple seam construction, these suits are highly abrasion resistant to easily shrug off abrasion damage which could otherwise lead to painful injuries. Furthermore, Alpinestars’ proven CE-certified armor is positioned in all the right places: shoulders, elbows, knees and shins to provide a high degree of impact protection. These areas are further aided by PE foam pads that can be found covering the hips, coccyx, upper arms and around the torso. All this combined helps to make for a slightly softer landing if your ride doesn’t go exactly as planned.
A fully-removable liner is fitted as standard, so you can take it out, wash it and freshen the suit up as needed. This liner houses some of the aforementioned PE foam padding which helps to keep the padding exactly where they’re most useful in a crash scenario. A hollowed-out aerodynamic hump is perforated at the top, (as are areas around the chest and legs on the one-piece suit) which combined with the mesh liner, help keep you cool when the sun bears down on the road. For a perfect fit, Aramidic stretch panels are sewn into areas that are least likely to hit the ground in a fall. These stretch panels not only help with fit, but also when combined with the accordion leather stretch panels, help to free up movement that would otherwise be somewhat restrictive in an all-leather suit.

As usual, Alpinestars tech’s quality of construction is second-to-none with the use of large leather panels and minimal seams. The fewer seems, the better. You can also see one of the PE foam panels that’s been sewed in just below the shoulder’s accordion stretch panel.
A three-position snap-in is available for placing your Alpinestars back protection in the suit.
