The
Arai Signet-Q Helmet will immediately make its presence felt in Fall 2011 as it marks the return of one of the most popular Arai Helmets that went away several years ago. The original Arai Signet Helmet left the motorcycling world in 2004, leaving a hole in the community for riders with an extremely pronounced long oval headshape. While the Profile has been the mainstay of the Arai lineup as their long oval lid, the Signet-Q is even more pronounced, with its 5mm additional length from front-to-back than what the RX-Q offers. For 2011, the clamoring of the community has been responded to, and the
Arai Signet Q Helmet arrives with a feature set almost identical to the RX-Q; the difference only found in the exceptional added features and the new head shape.
The Arai Signet Q Helmet borrows the ventilation directly from the RX-Q, at the top and side vents, and uses the same SAI shield as the RX-Q. However, the Signet Q Helmet uses an SAI shield that is Pinlock-ready, and comes standard with an OEM Pinlock Max-Vision lens. Arai teamed with Pinlock in development of this system, and the Max-Vision lens is able to utilize the integrated shield-brow vents and offers the maximum top-to-bottom visibility of any lens in the Pinlock family for the Arai Signet-Q. Additionally, the cheek pads from Arai are brand new in the Signet Q, using the Facial Contour Support system which is a higher density foam along the jawline for a more snug fit and an even better seal.
