Welcome to the world of Ducati's

You will find very few owners more fanatical than SS owners. Many of the owners on this forum own them not because thay can't afford something newer or better, we just like them. They are ideal all day sport bikes, and with a few mods will have the mid-range to allow them to keep up (or better) with most other bikes in real world riding conditions. I bought my '92 SS new, and it's still my favorite back road bike.

Example....a friend of mine went out riding with me a few months ago, and he was on his son's 2008 gixxer1000. We switched bikes, and after the ride he was asking me where he could find a clean SS.

Be safe and have fun.
