I live in Safety Harbor, Florida. I bought the first white wheel/white frame 900 SS to enter the US back in 1991, so when I saw the new S2R, it was deja vu. I live in the Clearwater, Fl area, and ride year round. I race a WR450 off road and a YZ450F in SuperMoto. Other rides...early 70's Hondas, 2006 GoldWing, 1997 CBR XX, Yami Roadstar. Gittin' married on June 4th, so, gotta get the collection in line before then!

Hola amigos!

My name is Sean and I'm 39 yrs old. I live in Texas, I'm a proud Superbike owner and here's my story. All true

I was abandoned at the age of 4yrs old in Los Angeles with my younger brother. I was placed in foster care with several homes until I was finally adopted at 7yrs old. I migrated to Texas at 10yrs old. Kinda grew up normal other than all the mental baggage from abandonment. Dad kicked me out of the house in 1985 and told me "There's the motorcycle and TV. I'll take $250 for the both. Find your own place to live by this weekend". That started my moto journey. I married my High School sweety on June 7th, 1989. Yep, the date is 6-7-89 and easy to remember. 1st Ducati ridden was a 1991 900SS. Love at first sound. Club raced a NT650 Hawk in my early 20's back when the CMRA was with WERA(CMRA #777 93'-97'). Bought a Ducati 748 in 1999. Love it!!! I have an 8yr old daughter and I ended up at ducati.ms after the Ducati Index fell apart.

Here's some pics of my family...

Enchanted Rock near Fredericksburg, TX

Wife and I in Arkansas...

Monterey Bay... I actually do have hair.

Daughter and Daddy at Vicksburg, MS and the mighty Mississippi behind us.

Don & Judi

We look forward to those weekends that we can get away, and those that we can't - either way we love our times out on the Duke

Hello, my name is Mark and I'm born and raised Alaskan. I'm half Tsimshian Indian and half cowboy. I've been ridin for years.

My first Duc was a '98 748 that my brother now owns. I've had the 996 Monoposto since the end of '00. I'm on my 3rd warranty motor because of a bad big end bearing and a bad crank bearing! No, I don't do wheelies or over-rev the engine and yes I changed oil frequently with semi-synthetic Ducati approved oil. Anyway, Ducati compensated with mods and extended warranty. If it had been my only bike I don't know if I could've remained Ducatisti. I still love the marque. One of my best rides on this bike was Deal's Gap Sept '04! Yeah baby!

Last year I got a nice new blu/wht S4R and modded it which got me a trophy at our local Spring bike show! Heading home from my last day of work before heading down to MotoGP in CA, a 17yo gal in her p/u caused me to crash. I broke my wrist (first broken bones ever!), badly sprained ankle, and totalled the bike! Lucky for me, I wear all the gear all the time.

Here's me and my bro at a bike blessing. I'm wearing a Vanson Dave Aldana Skeleton outfit with a helmet painted by a good friend.

Each year since becoming Ducatisti, I've been making my own Christmas cards including a Duc. This year's was titled 'Santa Paws Comet & his little helper Mark.'

Foremost, my compliments on the new site! Looks great! My name is Jonathan and I'm from Long Island, NY. Been riding motorcycles for over 25 years now (since I was 5) and have been a devoted Desmo head for the past 5 years. I'm also quite fortunate to have a girlfriend who's not only wonderful, beautiful, and amazing in every way, but also a Ducati owner and rider. Any girl that rides is always a plus, but a girl who rides a Duc, now that's a keeper! Even though she's a lot newer to the sport than I am, I'm proud to say she's learning fast. She's got a Monster, and plans on upgrading to a Superbike sometime in the near future. Gotta love a goal oriented woman! Well, that's just a little bit on me. Hope to see more and more members in the years to come...

Yo. John here. St. Louis. Still mostly a Ducati newbie, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

My wife loves to ride pillion, when we can get babysitting for 4 crumb crunchers, I just don't have any pictures of both of us with the Duc.

My name is Anna and I live just outside of Chicago. I started sport-touring on a crotch rocket in 2001. I had a Honda CBR F4, then the F4i and I still have the 954RR. Last fall a friend of mine bought a ST3, I sat on it and two weeks later I bought one too. This is my first sport-touring bike, my first Ducati and I love it. I ride about 30,000 miles per year and I’m hoping that the Duc will be as reliable as my Hondas.

Hi,

It’s great to have found a site where almost everyone has good taste! I’ve had 6 Japanese bikes over the years. My last was a Honda CBR900 which performed great. The last two times that I bought Japanese bikes I really wanted a Ducati and didn’t get one because I thought too much about price, maintenance, etc… So then I’d be riding and see a Duck and think I should’ve got one ? I had to go thru that experience twice (about 5 years!) before I finally gave in.
No looking back now –I love my 996, and my next bike will be another Ducati. I’m in the Denver area, so if anyone wants to plan a trip this way I will totally make myself available to show off our canyons!

Here's a pic of my mom & I.
(can someone please tell me how to make images show in posts?) THANX!
