New To Ducati Deciding on which bike right now

Hi guys and gals. Just wanted to say hello and maybe get some opinions. I am coming from a little over a year of not having a bike at all...i now its terrible. I am almost 29 and have been riding since bikes since i was 15. I used to ride a CBR F3 before and for what it was it was a great bike. Never had any issues with it.

I have always loved the Ducs and always said i would get one and now seems like it might be the time. I'm looking to either finance a new Diavel Carbon Red or get a used Monster cash. I really love the Diavel and i know i would be happy with it but it is a good chunk of change. I found a local place with a 2006 Monster S4R with the metal tank. Red and for 7300 bucks.

Its a big choice but maybe you guys can help me

Joe

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your decision. The Monster is a great bike and has been a cornerstone for Ducati for a long time.

If it were my money, I would go with the cash deal Monster (especially coming from a F3) and then see if you think the Diavel is worth the upgrade. Both are great bikes, but very different too.

You should ride them both if you can.

It does not sound like you can make a bad choice, only fiscal responsible and not so responsible ones.

Hopefully, the S4R kms and maintenance are right.

choices

Grab the S4r! You can do a lot with it in terms of mods and different riding uses. Once you have one duc, you will always want another. Good luck.
