New here, but not to Ducs

Hey All,

I'm Eric, and I guess don't have the sense enough to pick a "handle" that would give me any anonymity... LOL. My last bike was on '06 Multistrada 620 Dark. Sadly, I totaled it a while back and have been shopping for a new bike since then. I vehemently oppose helmet laws, but scold people for not wearing good gear... LOL. I just don't like being told I have to wear it. But after escaping my crash with nothing more than skinned knees (lost weight and sold my aramid jeans on eBay that morning!) I'm a believer. I'm also a believer in not driving like a fool on public roads anymore and now I save it for the track.

I'm a member on the Multistrada forum from my time as an owner, and the Diavel forum because I really thought I was going to buy one... But I wound up here because I realized I really love the Sport Classic bikes and there aren't any on eBay, so I have to get in the know with more folks if I'm ever going to get my hands on one! Of course, then I stumbled onto RpM's beautiful BMW R100S in the classifieds... LOL.

I deploy a lot with work, so my location is a little... fluid. But for right now my home base is Las Vegas, NV with a potential move to Fargo, North Dakota coming this April. At the moment I'm deployed "over there".
