748 Coolant reservoir
So, I have a 748 that has been going through coolant reservoirs as does many of the 916, 996, and I think the 998. I have seen alum tanks on some forums here but no CF. I'm thinking about making one. I have the mold started but need help with some resins that I should use......Any suggestions?

Suggestions?....Hmmmm...I can't help you with the resins, but if you are asking us, maybe you should attempt a different material at first, like something you know better? Fiberglass?
Before you get too far into your project, have to read any of the threads about the causes and repairs of the OEM tanks? Here are two of them from a quick search....

I have read many threads on here and there are many theories on why these reservoirs fail. Nobody really knows why not even Ducati. Ones persons fix works for him but all others. There are aluminum reservoirs that people have made and they seam to work so far. I'm just trying something different.

The mold I created is out of fiberglass. Just looking to see who has some experience with resins and their resisistive properties.
