New from socal!
Hello Everyone,
New to the forums. Been riding Japanese sportbikes since 2001 and looking to get a 848 Evo Corse SE. I already had my deposit at the local dealer. I like to do track days. Been to places like Button Willow and Laguna Seca when I lived up in the Bay Area. Did not ride much since moving back to socal and sold my old R6 and ready to get a new Ducati.

Where in SoCal you at? That moniker covers a pretty big area.

I'm in Irvine with an 848 Evo. Let's meet in Julian when you get your 848.

It's my first Duc and I love it! You won't be disappointed. Make sure the dealer sets the suspension for your weight before you ride off the lot.

Still weighing my options.
What does everyone think of an 1198 base model vs the 848 Evo? It seems like I will be able to get a 1198 for roughly the same price. Ideally I would like to get the SP but there is just too much of a price difference right now and hardly any available. The Evo SE which I have a deposit on will have similar features of the 2011 1198 ie traction control and quick shifter.
