2012 White 848
Hi,
I'm Ryan from Sacramento. I bought a new white 848 with the red trellis frame back in December. I haven't gotten off it long enough to post here until now. All kidding aside, this bike is awesome. I've owned a few motorcycles, still have a cbr600, but this 848 is the most fun I've had in a while. The tall gearing is great for hitting 110mph on the highway in 4rth gear on my first ride. Whoops, this is a beautiful beast that is easy to lose yourself in the blurring acceleration and solid feel. The air pushing back on my race suit beckons me to twist the throttle more and more. Time for my 1st service and to add an Arata slip on and a PCV (still not sure if I should put the autotuner on). I could've been saddened by all the hoops I have to jump through to get the 848 to run smoothly (closed loop area under 5000 with tall gearing means you spend too much time on a crappy tune) because of emissions, but I won't. I just smile when I look in the garage at the 848 and consider myself lucky to own and ride one. I should start saving for my next Ducati....
