Just wanted to check in here as a new member. Recently bought a 2006 Multistrada S with 18K miles, DP hard bags and top case, ZARD exhaust, etc.
My dealer, Ace Motorsports in Concord, CA, just replaced the tank (thanks Ducati!) with a double Caswell coated unit. So far so good. Absolutely love the bike, should have gotten one years ago but I always thought they were just too tall, which as it turns out simply wasn't the case, duh! I also own a '78 Moto Guzzi Le Mans. I've got the Italian twin gene I suppose.
