new member from the central valley, Ca

Hey everybody, just gotta say, i love the forum, i have been lurking for a while and have found alot of usefull information, and i thank you all for that.
im out in the central valley in cali, and ive been building cafe bikes for a while now, but i decided id like to add a modern machine to the stable, and ducati is really the only thing i can picture myself riding, classy, elegant, and agressive all in one. so the hunt for one has begun,
and i finally decided to join, and i am excited about it.
i am recently looking to pick up a duc, and stumbled upon a nice 06' 749s, i like it, but it has 19k miles on it.
should i stay away from that?
has a termi exhaust, carbon clutch cover, but small scratches on one side of the fairings and a scratched brake lever. perfect running condition.
its going for 5,000$

what do you guys think?

im between this and a sport classic, love both bikes, and wouldnt mind owning either one. the sport c. is just so hard to find though. lol.

any way, i wanted to introduce myself and let you guys in on my plans and stuff. hope to meet you guys soon.

Welcome Hurley209! 5k is a good price. If the bike has a good service history then I would jump on this. even if it didn't theres nothing than cant be fixed.
