BellissiMoto's Custom Ducati ST4 (or at least it was an ST4)!
Hey Guys,
We started this project a little while ago, but I somehow forgot to post up about it...
Anyhow, you can see updates as they appear on our website here - BellissiMoto - Exotic Parts for the Beautiful Italian in your life.
And I will try my best to update this thread as we progress with the bike.
Step 1 - we found an injured ST4 on Ebay for $500

Frame and wheels were painted with a Subaru Impreza WRX Blue color and came out beautiful, but our current pictures don't do it justice...
I'll get some new ones today though, because we get to place the frame back on today!
Overall theme for this bike is to turn the ST4 into a very cool, custom naked streetfighter, but you'll have to keep watching to see the details as it progresses.

Wow. I'm glad you could see the love in that ST. I look forward to the build.
BTW, what is the condition of the centerstand and what are you going to do with it once you get the wheels back on?
Have a good one.

It's in great condition, but honestly I haven't thought about it yet - currently the centerstand has been too convenient as an engine stand to remove.
Don't worry though, if I decide to pull it off for good (likely) I will contact you first.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It is definitely a very useful part. Mine proved to be a frame slider also protecting my left can in a crazy 'ahem' drop.
ST into SF or CR alway look great.
Have a good one.

Cool, I have always had a small desire to tear mine down and make it a nakid but can't bring myself to do it with a pristine ST which mine pretty much is. Always good to have ideas though if she ever goes down........ will be following this build.
Oh and wow, score on the $500 find BTW......

Great project and a fantastic find for $500.
Why has the thread been moved ? I only ever log in to the ST section, so I'm a bit worried I'll lose track of this one, and I like to follow any ST thread of this nature........

I didn't move it, I guess the moderators didn't think a build thread about a custom ST4 should be in the ST section?
O-well, hopefully they will move it back so the people who actually like these bikes will see it, but today was not a good day for progress on the bike either, as unfortunately the frame paint chipped off a bit due to poor preparation, and will have to be refinished.
I guess it's not the worst that could happen, as we are still waiting for about 2-3 weeks on several other parts to arrive.

I hang around the ST section of the forum as well. Also very keen to see how the project progresses.

Mine is the yellow ST4S
