from another forum:
Just received my gloves from SportbikeTrackGear.com. They have a sale on them for $40 plus $10 shipping (FedEx).
As with everything else I have owned or observed from Cortech, the construction is high quality. All the seams are strong and the leather quality is good. The knuckle protectors could be stronger, as they are a semi-hard plastic material, but that is how they are advertised.
There are two wrist closures. The first is nearly 360 degrees around. It stops and starts on each side of a pad on the top, outside of the wrist in a likely impact zone. This strap is protected on the underside by a flap that extends from the extra layer of palm protection. Well thought out. The second closure is to tighten up the gauntlet. I have pretty narrow wrists and it does a good job, but there seems to be plenty of overlap for wider wrists with leather cuffs as well.
My only other concern is the perferated leather between the fingers. While I like some perf from the middle knuckle up to the hand, I'm concerned about this perf. It extends from near the tip of the finger up to the hand. I would think this is a weak spot in a crash. Then again, I had a glove up on two fingers during a crash, so maybe I am paranoid. Either way, the venting should be good with the perf and the vents in the knuckles.
Overall, these are probably a good buy at the $80 list price. At $40, they are a steal and I am glad I purchased them. For the street, they are a great glove. On the track they are a one or maybe two crash glove. Not something that you would get repaired and use again I don't believe.

BTW, the fit seems true. I normally wear a large and the are just the tiniest bit tight. That is perfect for a new glove in my experience. I would think one ride will leave them feeling just right.
