Recommendation for Fiberglass tank sealer?

Hey there,

Any recommendation for Fiberglass tank sealer?

Will be needed for a new 900SS fiberglass tank.

Thanks,

Lior.

Lior,
Google "Caswells" and look for tank sealant. The site will tell you what you need to know. I have bought this product for my SS and SFC tanks, but haven't done the work yet. You must follow the instructions carefully. Regards,
Ian

The Caswell recommendation is the best. Many of us have used this on our modern plastic gas tanks to try to cure the tank swelling problems that have been experienced on many new plastic tanks. I have also sealed a fiberglass tank with it. Most applications of this material on modern tanks use two separate coating applications to ensure 100% coverage inside the tank. Some people that do this as a service have jigs set up that rotate the tanks constantly while the coating cures. It is very important to follow the directions exactly and also beware of the fact that its viscosity varies considerably with temperature .... you need this as runny as possible for good coverage.
Are you in The U.S.?
