Frame identification help needed.

Hi,
This bike has appeared on ebay, and at first I thought it was an SS frame, but now I'm thinking more along the lines of TT2/Pantah, although I believe it isn't one of those either.
Can anybody shed any light on which model it was from please ?

Yes I know it isn't a 916 ST4.

Thanks,

Mark.

modified SS frame by the looks of it, sub frame chopped and lowered, looks like a nightmare!

This is what I thought when I first looked at it Dave, but on looking a little closer, now I don't think so.

Look at the single diagonal bracing on the front section of the frame, the nearest thing I've seen to that is the Verlicchi designed TT1 and TT2 frames. The 900 SS frames don't have that same bracing arrangement at all.

Here''s a 900 SS frame..

and here's a Verlicchi TT2

It almost looks like the front of a TT2 and the rear of a 900 SS.
