Restoring a '63 Monza 250

Don't get to hang out in here so much since most of the bikes I work on are newer superbikes and the like. My company paints the bikes for EBR, namely the 1190RS superbikes. I've always wanted to work on some vintage Ducatis having already spent time with old Harleys, BMWs, Bultacos, etc. My neighbor collects vintage Harley 150s and Bultaco racers most of which I have worked on so when he finally got around to picking up this one I was excited to get going on it.

I will take some pictures as I go. Currently all the bodywork is done. It was "done" before but very poorly. I actually pulled a patch off the gas tank that was just fiberglass laid over some holes. The bike has seen better days and it will again. I'll try to remember to upload pics of all the parts tonight as they currently sit before we hit them with epoxy and primer.

Does anyone know where to get Monza 250 decals for the side covers that are under the seat? Otherwise I'll try to cut some and paint them on. Already have tank badge decals that the owner wants to use.

Try Steve Allen :Bevel Heaven - Vintage Ducati Bevel Drive Motorcycle Extravaganza.
or Phil Hitchcock: Road and Race Ducati Parts - Italian Motorcycle Specialists
