pantah pistons

hey
does anybody know where i can find 650 pantah piston and rings (82mm). been keeping my eye out here in Australia for a while and i can't seem to find much. did find this place in the USA that sell high comp race ones but i don't really think its that practical to run 110 octane fuel.
thanks josH

Have you tried Ian Gowanloch? Or desmo - The bevel Side of Life . . . Königswelle und mehr I can't get to my Ducati books at the moment, but what bore size is the 650, is it the same as 750F1?

hey.
the 650 uses 82mm pistons, different from the 750f1, think it uses 88mm.
Ian Gowanloch is where i got new cylinders from. he said he didn't know where i could find 82mm pistons. thanks for the link, will have a closer look. but it looks like it has more bevel parts.
thanks josH

yeah bit high compression and they recommend 110 octane fuel. would be good if i was building a race bike. but for the road, think im looking for something a little closer to stock ones. not in any real hurry but just been looking for while and can never find 82mm pistons.
thanks

I have 82 mm pistons in stock which can be modified to 11:1 compression. Contact me directly at meyersbruce@yahoo.com.

Josh

Have a look here 066747400 / Piston - 82mm - Ducati 2V Belt Drive Twins 650 Pantah - Allazurra - Elefant - $331.63CAD : loudbike - More vintage new original stock OEM and aftermarket Ducati parts than you can shake a stick at.

Have bought parts from him and he is really good to deal with.

Hope all is well!
