magneto wires, 1 alum. 2 copper?
im re-wiring my cadet, and to get the wires from the engine routed to the junction box thing, i need about 2', all i have off the motor is 1'.
i was going to switch the 3 wires to all longer wires. i bought nice copper automotive wire that the same, or a little bigger of a gauge than coming off the motor. the problem is 2 wires, from the lighting and stop coil are copper, and the ignition coil going to the sparking coil is aluminum.
would it hurt it to change it ALL to copper? or would i need to replace the one aluminum one with an aluminum wire?
