indiana carb intake manifolds?!
Hello all, i have repaired my intake manifold rubbers numerous times and will be needing to replace them soon. After twenty plus years they have seen their better days. The bike is a 1987 indiana 650 and i have been repairing the manifolds with shoo goo! (a pliable shoe repair adhesive). My question is where can i find new ones, or has anyone run across this and have a solution? I have found a company in ohio that makes the rubber itself, but mine is corved and molded to the manifold.......

If you tried ringing Domiracer and they couldn't suggest anything, then I am not sure, but....
You might give Stuart Rust at Rust Restoration in Texas a ring About Rust Restoration – Stuart Rust motorcycle mechanic and Restoration his son used to be on here and said his Dad had some spares. Otherwise he might know where you could get parts that would do.
Steve Allen at Bevelheaven does list some manifolds to suit Bing's but they suit a range of 38-40mm and I think yours are 36??? Otherwise you could ring him as well and ask.

Those manifold sleeves should be the same as the later 750/900 belt engines.OR you could make some from radiator hose or better yet fuel filler neck hose.Try your local NAPA or other good auto parts or even tractor/industrial equipment supply store. Take a manifold or measure it so you know what I.D. hose you need. You could probably get a lifetime supply for a few bucks.
