Installing a tach? - Ducati.ms

is there any way to install a tach on my 100 cadet, i know it might sound stupid but i think it would be cool to get a little one and mount on the fork top beside the speedo,

i dont think it is, but maybe you guys know something i dont,

and if i were to order, any idea what RPM range to get? 1-8000 or to 10 000, i honestly cant see it getting to 8000 but i woudlent know....

They pick up on the pulses from the spark plug wire to measure rpm. They do not have a mechanical drive (therefore perfect for a retrofit application like yours). I can't imagine your motor would get past 8000 rpm, so go for that one.
