Front fender - help identify
Hey there,
Looking at google pics on SD and SSD I see many variations of fenders...
Can you please help identify mine? I'm not sure if it's from the SD or maybe other kind of Ducati.... Anyway I disassembled it and it will go up for sale (same go for the seat, rear folding cover, side covers, fender etc.) .. once I'll know what is it
Thanks,
Lior.

Not off any bevel.
Not the 'guard fitted to the '85/'86 F1 bikes but looks very like the 'wraparound' racing type used on the Monjuic and last F1 models to accomodate the wider tyres. They were two piece items though - I can't tell whether this one is? If not I would guess it's just a generic pattern item
Def. looks like it is designed for a smaller diameter wheel though

From your latest pics I would say not a late F1/Montjuich item either - front isn't squared off enough.
Pretty certain it's not off any of the later bikes either so , IMHO, not a Ducati item in any way, shape or form!
EDIT: Well, I was wrong - sort of.
Having done a bit more research (always like reading books about Ducatis) I'm now pretty sure it's from a 1986 Cagiva GT650 Alazzurra. So, some form of Ducati then...
Produced for 1986 only, with only 1166 made - fully faired and featuring a 'two piece wrap around 'guard modelled on the Monjuich item'. Nearly identical from the pics - but more pointed at the front...

Hey Rob,
Looks like a match!
I did find some pics on google, actually with Ducati instead of Cagiva but it's the same I guess...
As I guessed they are not the original for the 900, I just ordered front Fender for the 900SS that will match my Ducati, I guess instead of renewing mine I'll put them on ebay or something...
Thanks a lot!!
Lior.
