L Twin sidestand

On my '81 Darmah, the rear part of the sidestand bracket is held by a larger bolt that goes into the oil pan.

Can I remove this bolt without doing any internal damage? Will oil come pouring out? I looked at an online shop manual, but didn't see any reference to this bolt.

Would rather ask someone who might know before doing any random disassembly...

It shouldn't leak oil unless the other case bolts are loose too. It is one of the main case bolts and it secures the bottom area of the casting that separates the crankcase from the sump.
