And the twins aren't as bad as the singles! Amongst the 50 or so SCRs I saw at World Ducati Week a couple of years back, I don't think any two shared the same model of headlamp (Ok, I exaggerate grossly, but ...)
Actually, the truth may be a bit more complicated than that. Certain parts weren't approved for use in certain markets; so a bit of mix-and-match is only to be expected. That said, however, there are many stories of people opening new bike crates at the time to find, for example, both Lafranconi and Conti silencers inside; and even sets of both 32mm and 40mm carbs ... Which
is weird

Also, at the end of their run, Darmahs were very much 'parts-room specials'. Many late Darmah SDs like yours, for example, use the slightly different SSD frame.
