72-74 Sport tool roll?
What did the tool roll look like on the Bevel Sport?
I checked the parts manual and it appears that the tool roll is made of a course weave cotton material, with DUCATI stenciled on it
I have heard that Sports didn't come with that tool roll, but had a blue plastic roll with a black DUCATI stencil.
So the question is which is correct, or if there was a change what date was the change?

My 1975 Sport came with a blue plastic tool bag, but I don't recall 'Ducati' stencilled on it.

I bought my late 1974 Sport new in 1975. I cannot remember the tool roll having any writing on it. I do remember the tools were such basic quality that I made up my own tool kit from good quality tools. I also ditched the Ducati tool roll, which was actually just a tool pouch with some tape ties, and used a tool roll from a spanner set instead. My Sport came with the dual seat and the tool kit was contained in a small compartment in the seat base.
I still have most, if not all, of the original tools laying around the garage and this has reminded me I should put them together for safe keeping.

Thanks Duccout, That's what I wanted to know.

No question the tools were crap, and most of us did what you did. Which is why I'm having a hard time getting a set together to display with the bike. I have the tools, but need a correct roll.

Yes, this is the bag that was with my early 73 GT. I think I have all the tools and the bag still riding under the seat.
The plastic is now hard and brittle.
I still have all the tools for my 74 but the bag is gone.
And yes that thing on ebay is an overpriced reproduction.
