Failure....

i just got my 100 cadet all together, and it ran on the first kick, but then quicky died, i kept trying to re-start it, but the carb flooded it out and the motor internally was drenched, then my manifold snaps, and im not getting any spark for some reason,

can anyone provide me with some sort of insight to this 2stroke problem? and possibly a source for a new manifold

DomiRacer has lots of parts for the small bikes.

If you're getting no spark after flooding the engine first try drying the plug (spray with contact cleaner) or a new plug. Leave the plug out, hold the throttle wide open and kick it over a few times to get all the raw gas out of the crankcase. Reinstall the plug and try starting it without the choke, throttle closed. If the plug keeps getting wet, hold the throttle wide open and kick it over until it starts to fire. It will (hopefully) start to fire and eventually clear out according to the square root of the successful ignition events. You may have to remove and clean the plug a few times. Make sure your float level is set correctly and that the float needle/seat are sealing properly and preventing fuel flow when closed. Buon aventura!

There is a plethora of parts for small bikes on e-bay now. Someone is selling out old Joe's (Cosmo motors) supplies. Keep in mind, lots of parts are universal and might be listed under different tags (i.e. Benelli, Wards, Cadet etc). Dan
