This is a race bike through and through. The owner is itching to get it back on the track this summer!

Those are horny looking pipes, indeed. Imola style just looks right on round case twins.
Please don't tell us that the owner wants to cover them in that ugly heat wrap cloth stuff!

You may want to rubber mount those pipe hangers or double thickness the brackets as the vibes are pretty intense with all that unsupported length. Mine used to crack pretty frequently on my 900. Wrapping the hanger around about a third of the diameter of the pipe and widening it kept it from tearing the meg as it spread the load over a wider area. Looks like a nice system and it will sound goood!

Do you know what size wheels and what rubber he uses?

I believe he is using 18" avon tires, width I do not know.
Regarding the hangers, These are a copy of the balled up ones he had made some years ago, if they do tear, I'm always near with a welder! Hopefully he can keep these from hitting the ground!

Thanks. I'd like to race one of those bikes, but they sure have some funky wheel set ups. With limited tire selection, I bet the bike could easily best the available tires and put you on the ground. Great work, btw!
