Ebay and craigslist is slim pickings. Looking for a running or non-running one, that's not in too good of condition. Basket case is fine, as long as it's title-able.

Not many cheap bikes around anymore as most are bought up and stripped down to every last nut and bolt

Good luck in finding one , you might have to go for a runner in fair cond and go from there

Cheers Marty

They do come up once in a while you just have to be diligent and patient.

Ebay will be expensive because you'll have to out-bid a lot of people who are looking for the same thing.

Craigslist will be better if you can get to the bike quickly. Don't be too picky there just aren't that many of these bikes around.
And, be prepared to pay, these are not CB750's, a junk one will bring $2 grand any day of the week.

A bit of advice - it will be far cheaper to buy a decent running bike and pay more up front than to buy a cheaper bike that needs everything.
An engine rebuild on a bevel can run $5 to $8 K. !

There was a nice running 860 GT on craigslist locally last month for $5800, that would have been a good buy IMO and far less expensive than a non running bike for $2500

Bring a Trailer BaT – The best vintage and classic cars for sale onlinesometimes features bikes. They also have a finder's service. I have not tried it (nor am I affiliated with them).
