what do you guys think of this one?

Thinking about buying and doing a frame-off restoration. Seller says its a barn find. No idea if engine turns. He wants 600 for it and doesn't know what year it is. O and it is missing the carb. Any info you could extract from the picture would be great.

I have one I'm restoring this year. It's a super low tech over head valve single,
5-6 hp top speed 55mph downhill, 125cc. Capt Paul

bronco resto

From the pic, it looks to be missing the headlight, front fender, carb. Personally, I would not pay $600 for it. You also should be aware that these bikes are not worth much - you see them in running shape on ebay and craiglist in the $1000 range. Having said that, I have 2 that I am working on and CaptPaul is right - they are small and not too fast.

Good luck !

I'd pass, too- trying to scour the world for parts will frustrate you no end. Wait and try to find a 250 or 350 single that's restorable instead, it'll be much more rewarding and easier to do.

That bike sure looks like it passed it's endurance and longevity test tho with a little help from some MX forks (proabably work alot better than the stock ones)
