mhr clearance.

Any ideas on improving the clearance on a mhr mille 1000. Maybe some suspension mods. Like the bike with full fairing on but sick of ripping it up on corners. About to order a new lower fairing and cut out the areas that make contact, but may be better off make some suspension changes.

The trouble is, that the Mille MHR already has longer suspension units than earlier bevel ducatis, so I don't think that you can do anything in that area. Better to cut down a fairing or change to an SS top half, which is quite easy to do.

Ditto removing the fairing. An unfortunate feature of the Hailwood model. If you can find a copy of "Italian Motorcycles" 2, there is an owner's article on improvements to a Mille Hailwood.
