I cannot remove spark plugs
Apparently, this is a process that exceeds my skills. I can swap out wet clutches, re-jet carbs, removes wheels and sprockets, install exhausts and power commanders, bars, and the normal stuff.
But I cannot pull the front spark plug on this damned bike. Not with the cheap Ducati plug socket, and not with a standard 5/8" spark plug socket, either the 6 point or the 12 point type.
I can remove the coil and the front cylinder gives me direct access to the plug, but I cannot get a socket down in there to grab onto the plug. I can feel the end going into the rubber portion of the socket, the part that holds it in there, but neither of the 4 sockets that I tried will slip over and grab onto the plug itself, in order for me to remove it or tighten it.
Any ideas? This is retarded that the plug is half a foot down into the motor and none of the tools that I have will apparently work.

Are the tools covered by warranty? If so, get your dealer to get you one that works

Why would service tools be covered under a warranty?

I was refering to the Ducati "special" tool. Not the one included with the bike.
