Anyone raise the rev limiter limit?
Anyone raise the rev limeter limit?
If so, how high?
Would it make more hp?
Pros, cons?
I suppose this voids the warranty, but how much could you raise it safely?
I might call Bazzaz and see if their FI chip will do it?
Knowledgeable opinions, worthless opinions , anyone?

Power has already peaked by the time the limiter kicks in, so there is nothing in it.
Peak is around 9,6 and limiter is at 10500, sorry to bring the boring news to you

Ya unfortunately sad but true. I wouldn't bother raising it more than 500rpm but like tomtom suggested no real benefits. Not to mention that once you remap the engine will have a much broader rev range and u likely won't be hitting redline as often.

Ok, maybe I will try it afterall. 13,000 rpm sounds about right. I'm also getting the 25hp booster plug-in from Walmart, $99.99. It clips directly into the flux capacitor.

We just had one in here to do the US stock version map. Here is the dyno graph and you can clearly see the power is dropping off so raising the rev limit would not be of much benefit.
