Ducati Performance Streetfighter Anti-Theft PN 96781310B
The bike has a red LED blinking in the center top of the display. Is this the alarm set up, or another sort of antitheft system?
When they started it, the display showed 13.1 for voltage, but was running a bit rough. (bad battery?)
The immobilizer is a built in anti theft device or considered as one for insurance purposes?
Is this something like the Kwaks where there is a variable resister in the ignition circuit and the key sends to the computer the setting in order for it to start?
In the original question I was referring to the Ducati Performance Streetfighter Anti-Theft PN 96781310B. I understand the probable waste of monies re stolen bikes, but was referring to lowering the insurance rates.
My intention is for them to find the rear seat, operators manual, maintenece records, new battery, the 2 recall repairs, or proof thereof of completion.
Is there anyway you can run the VIN for the maintenance records. Sort of like GMVIS system?
